The Denison women's tennis team will be making their second consecutive trip to the NCAA Quarterfinals (elite 8) following their 5-1 win over DePauw University in the third round of the 2008 NCAA Division III Championship tournament from Blackstock Courts in Greencastle, Ind.

Women's Tennis: DU advances to NCAA's third round
The Denison Big Red will find themselves in familiar territory on Sunday following today's 6-0 victory over Albion College in the second round of the 2008 NCAC Tournament. For the fourth consecutive season Denison will square off against DePauw for the right to advance to the NCAA Division III Quarterfinals.

Women's Tennis: Denison earns fifth seed in NCAA Tournament
The Denison University women's tennis team has qualified for the 2008 NCAA Division III championship tournament and will travel to Greencastle, Ind. on the campus of DePauw University for a six-team regional that will begin on May 2 and continue through May 4.

Women's Tennis: Big Red brings home seventh consecutive NCAC title
The Denison women's tennis team cruised to a 5-0 victory over nationally ranked Kenyon College in the title match of the 2008 North Coast Athletic Conference tournament on Saturday in Oberlin, Ohio. Denison did not lose a point as they rolled to victories over Wooster, Oberlin and Kenyon to capture their seventh consecutive and eighth conference title, overall.

The No. 5 ranked Denison University women's tennis team handed The College of Wooster and Oberlin College 5-0 defeats on Friday to advance to the North Coast Athletic Conference title match on Saturday at 10:30 a.m.

Women's Tennis: Big Red locks up top seed at NCAC Tournament with win over Wooster
Denison changed up the lineup, and gave three starters the day off. In their absence, Claire Hallan, Maggie Colvin and Kristina Beilinson all picked up straight-set victories for the Big Red in singles. Denison has now won 40 consecutive NCAC regular season matches dating back to April 21, 2001.

Women's Tennis: No. 5 Denison defeats Oberlin
The Denison women's tennis team moved to the No. 5 spot in the most recent Intercollegiate Tennis Association rankings and leapfrogged DePauw for first place in the central region. To celebrate their new rankings they went on the road to defeat Oberlin College, 8-1 on Tuesday.

The Denison women's tennis team defeated Gustavus-Adolphus, 5-4 and DePauw University, 5-3 on Saturday to capture the 2008 Midwest Invitational Championship held at the University of Wisconsin in Madison, Wis.

The ninth-ranked Denison women's tennis team picked up a critical victory 5-4 victory on Saturday versus the nation's seventh ranked team, Mary Washington. The Big Red got a key victory at #2 doubles from Meghan Damico and Kendra Murray and then came back to sweep first, second and third singles.

Women's Tennis: Top-ranked Washington & Lee tops Big Red
The #9 Denison women's tennis team suffered an 8-1 loss to #1 Washington & Lee on Friday in Lexington, Va. Denison's lone victory came from sophomore Kara Zdanowski who dispatched Rebecca Timmins in three sets.

The Big Red stormed back from a 2-1 deficit after doubles and a 4-3 deficit through the top four singles matches to pull off a 5-4 victory over the nation's 27th ranked team, Washington University on Tuesday in Hilton Head, S.C.

Women's Tennis: Big Red Blanks Bloomsburg
The Denison women's team rolled to a 9-0 victory over Division II Bloomsburg on Monday in South Carolina. The win improves Denison's record to 3-2. They will be back in action on Tuesday when they ninth ranked Big Red squares off against #27 Washington University-St. Louis at 1 p.m.

Women's Tennis: #7 DePauw edges #10 Big Red
When Denison and DePauw get together on the tennis court odds are it's going to be a nail biter. On Saturday in Greencastle, Ind. the seventh-ranked Tigers won two of three doubles matches and came from behind at #2 singles, forcing a key victory which resulted in a 5-4 loss for the 10th ranked Big Red.

Women's Tennis: Big Red Women tabbed favorite in NCAC Preseason Tennis Poll
Denison women's tennis team emerged as the preseason favorite for the 2008 season. Denison, last year's NCAC champion, received all seven first place votes and 56 points overall. Kenyon was picked second with 49 points followed by Oberlin, Ohio Wesleyan, Wittenberg, Allegheny, Earlham and Wooster.

Women's Tennis: Big Red begin season with key win over Chicago
The Big Red women's tennis team started off the spring season in impressive fashion, beating the University of Chicago, 7-2 on February 15. Denison entered the match ranked tenth nationally and second in the region. Chicago was #19 nationally and fifth in the region.
