Women's Tennis: Watch Cobb-Drane vie for National Title

After a convincing 6-4, 6-2 victory over Carnegie Mellon this afternoon, the Big Red's top doubles duo of Kristin Cobb and Marta Drane will play for the 2008 NCAA National Championship.

The championship match was originally scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. CST from St. Peter, Minn. on the campus of Gustavus Aldophus College. The other semifinal match between Amherst College and Emory University went to three sets before Amherst advanced 6-3, 3-6, 6-3. It is still tentatively scheduled for 2 p.m. but could be bumped back to accommodate the athletes in the other semi-final match.
