The Big Red stormed back from a 2-1 deficit after doubles and a 4-3 deficit through the top four singles matches to pull off a 5-4 victory over the nation's 27th ranked team, Washington University on Tuesday in Hilton Head, S.C.

Denison's Kara Zdanowski (Ann Arbor, Mich./Pioneer) and Sarah Mitchiner (Ann Arbor, Mich./Huron) bounced back after a pair of first set losses to win sets two and three and lock up the win for DU.  In doubles play senior Erin Gorsich (Dover, Ohio/Dover) and Kristina Beilinson (Gates Mills, Ohio/Hawken) bailed out the Big Red with a critical 8-6 victory over Jaclyn Bild and Karina Kocemba to prevent a 3-0 sweep for the Bears.
