Volleyball: Denison gets back in win column versus Quakers

The Big Red volleyball team snapped a recent losing streak with a North Coast Athletic Conference victory over Earlham College on Wednesday night in Richmond, Ind.
Denison topped the host Quakers 3-0 (25-16, 25-10, 25-16) to improve to 4-10 and 1-2 in NCAC play. Freshman Megan Early (Findlay, Ohio/Van Buren) was efficient as she recorded 11 kills in just 13 attempts. She also led the team with two blocks.
Holly Leonard (Evanston, Ill./Evanston Twp.) was Denison's dig leader with 12 and Ali Trotter (Cincinnati, Ohio/Turpin) and Claire Koneval (Solon, Ohio/Solon) combined for 32 assists to pace the Big Red.
DU will continue their conference slate on Friday 7 p.m. when they host Kenyon College. That contest will also be broadcast on the Denison Sports Network which is available here
