Volleyball: Hiram defeats Big Red

The Hiram College Terriers downed the Big Red volleyball team 3-0 (25-14, 25-15, 25-22) on Wednesday night at Price Gymnasium in Hiram, Ohio. The loss moves Denison's record to 2-6 in the North Coast Athletic Conference while Hiram improves to 7-4 in conference play.
The Big Red attack was led by junior Sara Mason (Lakewood, Ohio/Lakewood) who registered nine kills while Ali Trotter (Cincinnati, Ohio/Turpin) and Claire Koneval (Solon, Ohio/Solon) combined for 25 assists. Holly Leonard (Evanston, Ill./Evanston Township) paced the defense with 15 digs in the three-game match.
Denison will travel to Allegheny College on Friday for a 7 p.m. match with the Gators.
