Denison junior defensive specialist Holly Leonard (Evanston, Ill./Evanston Township) was named to the 2008 All-North Coast Athletic Conference Volleyball second team.

Leonard lead the Big Red this season with 564 digs. The junior recorded 20 or more digs in 11 games and 30 or more in five contests, including a season-high 39 digs at Allegheny on Oct. 17. The Evanston, Ill. native ranked fourth in the NCAC with 5.81 digs per match and helped Denison average 18.06 digs per match, ranking the squad third in the league. Leonard has compiled 1,419 digs in her three-year career and is making her first appearance on the all-conference team.

The first-year laden Big Red finished the year at 10-18 and fifth in the conference.
