Kasia Kucharski led DU with 9 kills against Oberlin.

The Denison volleyball team picked up a 3-0 (25-11, 25-18, 25-20) victory over North Coast Athletic Conference foe Oberlin College on Tuesday night. The Big Red improved to 6-11 overall and 3-3 in league play.

Senior Kasia Kucharski (Columbus, Ohio/Bishop Ready) paced the Denison attack with nine kills while fellow senior Ali Trotter (Cincinnati, Ohio/Turpin) and first-year Claire Koneval (Solon, Ohio/Solon) combined for 37 assists. Junior Holly Leonard (Evanston, Ill./Evanston Township) led the defense with 20 digs.

DU hits the court next on Friday (Oct. 10) when they travel to seventh-ranked Wittenberg. Match time is slated for 7 p.m.
