Volleyball: Denison falls at Ohio Wesleyan

The Denison volleyball team suffered 3-1 (26-24, 24-26, 26-24, 25-19) setback at North Coast Athletic Conference rival Ohio Wesleyan University on Saturday afternoon. The Big Red fell to 5-11 overall and 2-3 in the conference.
Megan Early (Findlay, Ohio/Van Buren) paced the DU offensive attack with a season-high 15 kills while Ali Trotter (Cincinnati, Ohio/Turpin) and Claire Koneval (Solon, Ohio/Solon) combined for 63 assists. Defensively, Holly Leonard (Evanston, Ill./Evanston Township) led the Big Red with 33 digs.
Denison hits the court next when they travel to Oberlin College on Tuesday (Oct. 7). The match is slated to begin at 7 p.m.
