Sara Mason posted 36 kills on Saturday vs. Allegheny and Case.

Denison suffered a hard-fought five-game loss to Allegheny in the morning but returned in the afternoon for a 3-0 win over Case Western Reserve to move their season record to 6-6.

Against Allegheny Denison battled back from and 0-2 deficit to tie the match at 2-2 entering the fifth and final game.  In the final set saw Allegheny fight off DU, 15-8 for the win.  Denison was led by Sara Mason's (Lakewood, Ohio/Lakewood) 16 kills and Ali Trotter's (Cincinnati, Ohio/Turpin) 56 assists.  Lauren Weidner (Lake Barrington, Ill./Barrington) posted 18 digs.

In the afternoon tilt DU dispatched Case Western Reserve, 3-0 (30-27, 30-27, 31-29).  Mason led the team again with a season-high 20 kills.  Trotter had 53 assists and Holly Leonard (Evanston, Ill./Evanston Township) had 20 digs.  Senior Kelsey Bruce (Upper Arlington, Ohio/Upper Arlington) led the way with four blocks.
