Junior Ali Trotter led the Big Red in assists with 42.
The Big Red came out victorious in their home opener after five games (24-30, 30-23, 30-24, 25-30, 15-12) tonight versus the Cardinals from Otterbein.
Junior Kasia Kucharski (Columbus, Ohio/Bishop Ready) led the team in kills with 19 while fellow junior Ali Trotter (Cincinnati, Ohio/Turpin) led the team with 42 assists.
Also contributing to the Denison win were sophomore Holly Leonard (Evanston, Ill./Evanston Township) who contributed 25 digs and senior Kelsey Bruce (Upper Arlington, Ohio/Upper Arlington) who led the team in blocks with six.
