The Denison women's swimming and diving team defeated Calvin College but suffered a close loss to NCAA Division II opponent, Wayne State on Saturday afternoon in Detroit.

Women's Swimming & Diving: Kenyon wins dual meet over rival Big Red

In the annual North Coast Athletic Conference dual meet, the Kenyon College and Denison Big Red squared off in a clash of Division III national powerhouses. The Big Red dropped a 134-103 decision to the rival Ladies.

Women's Swimming & Diving: Denison prevails in dual meets

The Big Red women's swimmers and divers won a pair of dual meets on Saturday afternoon as one group hit the road and defeated Oberlin, 161-116 while the remaining swimmers stayed home and topped Ohio Wesleyan, 164-121.

Women's Swimming & Diving: DU wins second-straight NCAC Relay crown

The Denison women's swimming and diving team opened the 2008-09 campaign by defending their crown at the annual North Coast Athletic Conference Relays hosted by Denison University and Kenyon College. Denison totaled 172 team points while Kenyon followed in second-place with 152 points.

Swimming & Diving: Big Red set to begin season at NCAC Relays

One year removed from a pair of third place finishes by both the men's and women's teams in the national meet, the squads will return to the pool and begin the long road back to the NCAA Championships. For head coach Gregg Parini and the Big Red, that road begins this weekend as they compete in the NCAC Relays.

Women's Swimming: Denison places third at NCAA Division III Championships

The Denison Big Red women's swimming team wrapped up a successful three days at the 2008 NCAA Division III Championships with 328 team points which was good enough for a third place overall finish.

Women's Swimming: Relay title highlights second day of 2008 NCAA Championships

Records continue to fall at the 2008 NCAA Division III Swimming & Diving Championships and this time the Big Red are in on the action. After two of three nights at the national meet the Big Red sits in third place with 240 points. They trail second place Amherst by only 15 points while Kenyon leads with 389.5 points.

After the first night of competition at the 2008 NCAA Division III Championships in Oxford, Ohio the Denison Big Red sits in third place with 114 points. DU trails second-place Amherst College by just eight points while Kenyon College is the day one leader with 205 points.

Women's Swimming & Diving: Results from Kenyon Invitational

A group of Denison's women's swimmers took place in the Kenyon Last Chance Meet on Saturday and placed first with 364 points. Kathy Faingold led Denison with two NCAA provisional swims in the 200 IM and the 200 breaststroke.
