| History: | The College Street Gates were built in 1904 as part of a campus beautification program. Designed by Richards, McCarty and Bulford of Columbus, the gates feature quotes from poets Longfellow and George Crabbe on one side and from Benjamin Franklin and an unknown source on the other side. They are in Jeffersonian Federal Revival style. |
