Campus Climate Watch
The purpose of the Denison University Campus Climate Watch page is to provide an ongoing report of alleged on-campus incidents related to discrimination, harassment, sexual assault, or general assault in the Denison Community. These incidents can strongly affect the campus climate at Denison. Our goal with this site is to provide accurate information to the community about such incidents.
Incidents that appear on this page were officially reported to the university through the Office of Safety and Security or with the Office of Student Affairs. Incidents that are related to discrimination, harassment, assault, or sexual assault are included in this site. These incidents are reports of alleged student-to-student behavior except where otherwise indicated.
If you have experienced or witnessed an incident of possible discrimination, harassment, sexual harassment or general assault, we strongly encourage you to report it through the Office of Campus Safety and Security (ext. 6482) or through the Office of Student Affairs (ext. 6271). We also encourage you to to contact either a SHARE Advocate (names and contact information are posted in many campus locations), Michelle Grindstaff, East Quad Assistant Director (ext. 6776) or Dr. Sonya Turner at Whisler (ext. 6647) for information and support.
