Denison's Greek Governing Councils

The fraternity and sorority community operates in a self-governance model, led by three governing councils:

Interfraternity Council (IFC) - oversees six nationally or internationally affiliated fraternities.

National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) - oversees nine historically African-American Greek organizations, two which are represented at Denison.

Panhellenic Council (PHC) - oversees six nationally or internationally affiliated sororities.

The three councils, advised by a staff member from the Student Activities Office, exist to govern and program for the 14 Greek organizations and their members. The goal of the councils is continued improvement and enhancement for approximately 700 affiliated students on campus.
