Distinguished documentary filmmaker Carma Hinton (The Gate of Heavenly Peace, 1995) will be the keynote speaker at the film series.
Presented by the Denison Museum, the East Asian Studies Program, the Department of Modern Languages, and the Department of Cinema. Made possible by a generous grant from the Freeman Foundation, and additional funding from the Foresman Fund.

Tim Lanza
Tim Lanza is the Archivist and Director of Licensing and Public Access for the motion picture library known as The Rohauer Collection as well as an independent media programmer. Mr. Lanza has curated such programs as Tom Verlaine: Music For Film, which has played 13 dates in North America and 4 in Europe, The Avant Garage Music And Film Festival, which ran annually in Columbus and Cleveland for 8 years, and touring retrospectives of the films of Buster Keaton and of Paul Robeson. Tim Lanza has been a juror for the Ohio Short Film and Video Festival at The Wexner Center For The Arts for the last 6 years and also served as a judge at the Vila do Conde International Film Festival in Portugal.
