"Baptists in Burma"

Opening Reception: Friday, October 9, 5:00-7:00 PM

Featuring Burmese art and artifacts in the Denison Museum collection, this exhibition considers the complex relationship of Christian missionaries in India and Burma and earlier British colonial expansion in South Asia, in order to better understand the many meanings associated with missionaries' "possession" of art and artifacts of Burma.

The reception and show are free and open to the public.  We look forward to seeing you at the Denison Museum!
