Legal Assistance
Volunteers for this committee work with South Eastern Ohio Legal Services, which helps low-income citizens with legal problems. The lawyers always have work they need help with, and are enthusiastic about our partnership. Volunteers work with the attorneys to guide their tasks, which range from legal research to office work to courthouse errands and to document drafting. One must commit to weekly participation so that the lawyers can plan for your presence. You will gain valuable experience working with lawyers who are dedicated to helping the poor.
