What is Catalyst?

CATALYST (kat-a-list) noun

1. an agent that provokes or speeds significant change or action.
2. a new one-day program from LeaderShape.

Denison's Campus Leadership & Involvement Center & Leadership Fellows host Catalyst annually.  Catalyst is a LeaderShape program and we are thrilled to be able to offer this opportunity to Denison students.

How can I participate in Catalyst?

Applications will be available in the next academic year (2013-2014).

Space is limited for this program. Participants will be invited on a rolling basis. After acceptance into the program, participants will be asked to sign a confirmation of acceptance form and submit a fully refundable deposit. This information will be provided to participants via acceptance letters. See below for more information about deposits.

Who can participate in Catalyst?

Any Denison student can participate in Catalyst.

Is there a charge to participate?

Catalyst is FREE to all students who are selected and attend Catalyst, however students must submit a refundable deposit to the Campus Leadership & Involvement Center, 309 Slayter Union. Upon selection, applicants must submit a check made payable to Denison University in the amount of $50 to the Campus Leadership & Involvement Center. This check will not be deposited  unless a student who accepts his or her participation in the program cancels or fails to attend Catalyst. Upon completion of the program, the refundable deposits will be returned to all participants. Catalyst participants will also receive lunch.
