Women's Resources

Denison Rape Survivor Advocates

Faculty, staff and students who have received special training in the area of sexual harassment and assault. These designated Survivor Advocates are able to discuss sexual assault cases and alternatives available to survivors of sexual assault on a confidential basis, protected by law. Names of persons serving as Survivor Advocates are published each year, and this information is available from the Director of Women's Programs.

Campus Climate Advocates

Trained members of the faculty and staff who are available for confidential conversations with students who have experienced harassment,discrimination, hate crimes and other incidents of incivility on campus due to their race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, nationality or disability status. Campus Climate Advocates are available and willing to listen, offer support, and provide information about campus judicial procedures and resources. Names of persons serving as Campus Climate Advocates are published each year, and this information is available from the Director of Women's Programs.

Campus Security and Safety

Responsible for the reasonable safety and security of the Denison community. Contact to report illegal conduct and/or violations of University Policy.

Counseling Center

Free, full service, counseling center for all interpersonal issues, including sexual assault trauma, relationship violence, etc. Services are offered on a confidential basis.

Director of Religious Life

Provides confidential counseling with sensitivity towards spiritual concerns.

Safe Walk/ Safe Watch Program

Student-staffed escort service coordinated by the Chief of Campus Security and Safety.
