Supporting comments: "Greg's experience at Denison has been amazingly broad. He has participated in nearly every aspect of student life - from music, to student government, to working with the Admissions Office and the Trustee Ad Hoc Committee on Greek Life, to Teaching Fellow in Religion, to sports. Almost single handedly, in his first year on campus, Greg resurrected the Denison Crew Team and has built a competitive organization of 50 -80 students. He has developed strong leadership within the organization while focusing on strategic plans that will support growth of the organization. He has developed into an excellent coach with a solid coaching philosophy, which is in part due to the leadership skills he has developed over the past four years as the president and coach of the Crew Club. Greg's success in developing the Crew team goes a long way toward enriching the environment for our students today and tomorrow. As Class Co-Governor for two years, he helped to organize events such as the Licking River Roundup and LEADS swimming which fostered class unity and benefited the greater community. Greg's accomplishments are a wonderful example of what a bright, motivated student can do if he or she takes advantage of the many opportunities that are available at Denison. I don't know if he realizes it or not, but he is an example for students and alumni alike."
