Supporting comments: "Josue's leadership style is collaborative in nature. He is a quiet yet forceful leader who has proven himself over the years to be a very responsible, well disciplined individual. His methodical approach to working through difficult situations is a valued asset. He pays attention to detail and can be relied upon to not only meet one's expectations, but to exceed them. His thoughtful review of student applications for two years on the Multicultural Scholarship Committee has been a model for others. Has taken full advantage of the Denison experience, and as much as he has received, he has been very careful to return, through his involvement in his many organizations and other community activities. He has made a concerted effort to stretch outside his own referent group to make points of connection and contribution to a number of groups and individuals on campus. As Coordinator of our transportation program, he took great interest in ensuring our visitors had prompt, safe, enjoyable transportation to and from the campus as our guests. Josue has always been viewed more as a peer staff member in our office due to his maturity, and the amount of responsibility he is able to handle. He is a true professional and we will miss his work ethic, his caring and his great sense of humor."
