Supporting comments: "Last spring, prior to the arrival of the new Greek Advisor, Cat Stewart had been almost filling the role of Panhellenic advisor as well as president of Panhellenic Council. She had been taking on many things most student affairs professionals would consider advisory responsibilities. She planned retreats, she brought in presenters, and she led goal-setting sessions--all things that contributed to the overall direction of the organizations. Her willingness to hear new ideas, to help challenge the sorority community has laid the groundwork for unlimited progress in the years to come. I found quickly that she possessed an unlimited amount of leadership potential for our Greek Community and in the following months my respect for her did nothing but grow. Cat has pledged to be not just a leader, but to affect change through just acts. Her leadership style is subtle, yet commanding. She receives the deserved respect of her advisors and peers. She presents herself professionally without losing approachability. She stands by her convictions and expects others to meet high standards as well. In a different realm, Catherine's talent as a creative writer and as an enthusiastic student of literature has been obvious. During that semester in class, she demonstrated the rapid improvement that comes from her intense focus and hard work. She was a real asset to the class and continues to contribute to the vitality of the writing program at Denison. Additionally, Catherine is a generous and warm person, friendly, openhearted, and passionate about both her friends and her work."
