Supporting comments: "Stephanie was elected to the office of President of Alpha Chi Omega as a second semester sophomore, a distinction usually reserved for junior level members. Though young in age, she was mature in wisdom and management skills, running chapter and executive board meetings with tact, diplomacy, and thoughtfulness. These characteristics impressed her sisters enough to elect her for a second yearlong term as President. She has truly taken the values of Alpha Chi Omega and infused them into the chapter's daily operations. The goal-setting workshops she planned and executed with the chapter show that she was an inclusive leader. The officer training sessions she conducted show that she is a confident leader. And, being twice elected as president of her chapter shows that she was an effective and valued leader. When one of the floor chairs for the Homecoming Gala had to resign two weeks prior to the event, Stephanie stepped up when asked to take the position. She exhibits leadership in the very best sense. She does it quietly and graciously, without expectation of reward."
