Supporting comments: "Brandon has taken advantage of many Denison opportunities which have allowed him to be an active student participant and leader in campus organizations and in service to the community. In his roles as a Granville Firefighter/E.M.T. and as a Granville Police Dispatcher, Brandon uses diplomacy, tact, and professionalism one would usually find in someone with much more experience. Brandon is the type of person to be involved and willing to participate or help others when he sees that a task or project needs a hand. Furthermore, based upon his values and interests, he found many unique and fulfilling ways to serve his peers and the Denison community. Brandon's leadership as Colony President set the tone for the successful return of Beta Theta Pi fraternity to Denison. One of the key characteristics of Brandon's leadership style is the ability to listen to others' opinions, and while not necessarily agreeing with those opinions, certainly respecting them. In leading this new organization, he modeled critical guiding principles such as commitment to community and responsible personal conduct and has helped build a strong foundation for the Colony."
