Supporting comments: "Serving as director in his senior project, 'The Physicists,' Dan provided a shining example of his vision and how it improves the community in which he lives, and, in doing so, he demonstrated his concrete application of leadership skills. Dan helmed this production with savvy and vigorous enthusiasm. Beyond the firm yet compassionate leadership Dan provided his company, the show offered a play, and theatrical form, rarely presented on campus. Dan has served as the Chair of the After School Drama Club which provides after school activities for underprivileged students in the Newark area. His participation and leadership in this group has had, and will continue to have, lasting impact on local students. Additionally, his influence in founding the theatre department honorary and in the re-colonization of Beta Theta Pi will change the landscape of this university for many future students."
