He has taken on a leadership role in his academic department, in the jobs he undertakes as a lab assistant or tutor, and a leadership role in the co-curricular activities he pursues. Jordan has played an integral role in revitalizing the Outlook Club and has been the driving force behind the implementation of many programs to raise GLBT visibility on campus. Jordan is an inclusive leader who encourages and works with other members of a group to take on significant responsibilities in making events successful. He approaches his group work in a way that shows his commitment to help develop other members' leadership potential especially underclass members. Safezone is a program designed to create awareness and support around GLBT issues in our community.
