Supporting comments: "From campus radio to Swedish radio, Lars can be heard both far and wide. On WDUB, he works with a staff of 90 DJs and 13 officers and does his own programming. He makes sure that many campus events from the opening community picnic to the Denison Democratic and Young Republican student debates are broadcast live. He has done a tremendous job bringing the campus community together through his vision of what a radio station is and can be. He has also enabled other students to develop their skills through the radio station. Whether it is in the classroom, on WDUB, in his fraternity, or in campus governance, Lars has earned enormous respect from his peers. More importantly, he is unselfish with his talents. He has used his leadership and organizational talents to spearhead important charitable activities on campus. His efforts were acknowledged nationwide when he was presented with a community service award from the Delta Upsilon national office."
