Supporting comments: "Susi is not one to draw attention to herself and so it is a special honor to highlight the accomplishments of an extraordinary student who has become a leader in the academic arena as well as in many offices on campus. She was instrumental in organizing and hosting the 'Cultural Catalysts' conference which drew nearly two hundred students from ten area colleges. Her list of academic awards is considerable and yet she has found the time to be the guiding force behind the Denison Gymnastics Club. She has worked very hard to share her love of the sport and to draw in other students to the organization. After her year as Peer International Student Advisor, many fellow students still talk of the lasting impression Susi made on them. She offered the quintessential example of the high achieving student who was involved in a myriad of activities on campus. Susi has proven herself an exceptional scholar, leader, athlete, and contributing member of the Denison Community."
