Supporting comments: "While many in the Denison community may not have heard of 'RedTech,' most have experienced the direct benefits of the great sound productions at numerous campus events. RedTech is the organization that teaches its members leadership and technical skills, while helping its client organizations maximize their resources through in-house sound production. The Denisonian behind the mics and speakers is Alex Green. This past year, Alex mentored two first-year students and one sophomore, not only teaching them the skills to produce events, but the rationale and vision to make sure that RedTech is a lasting and beneficial part of the Denison community for years to come. Alex is a natural leader: organized, a creative problem-solver, enthusiastic and completely committed to his work, and generous with his time and energy. He has never been too busy to lend a hand, although his talents are in considerable demand across campus. He demonstrated over his several years working with Denison Outdoor Orientation that he had imaginative and effective ideas for bringing his hikers together. His active engagement with the Denison community - through governance, through our cultural offerings, through a variety of student organizations - have improved the college not just for our students, but also for the faculty and staff who work with him."
