Supporting comments: "As a College Republican leader, Mike has done a superb job of recruiting student members, organizing student participation in Ohio Republican events and the national campaign, and in working with local and state party officials. He has connected his peers and community to national organizations that have also recognized his growth as an activist and leader. Not surprisingly, the Young America's Foundation has twice designated him as one of the top-ten student activists in the nation. Mike also has played a key part in the Denison Lecture Series (DLS) - as treasurer in 2003-04 and as president in 2004-05. Perhaps his most notable contribution as a DLS officer was his effort in bringing a balance of ideological and partisan views to the program. He has served well as Denison's student representative when introducing numerous national speakers. And, of course, Mike has invested considerable time in student government, serving as a DCGA senator and chairing the Rules Committee. Mike has made important and lasting contributions to our campus."
