Supporting comments: "Serving as a manager for our student callers, Mary helped to develop and shape the messages we were sending about Denison and to mentor and coach over 30 student callers so they could be advocates for Denison, as well. Individually raising almost $40,000 for Denison, through her role as a student caller, Mary was one of the 'Voices of Denison' to alumni, parents and friends. The gifts she secured for Denison helped bolster scholarship support, provided money for faculty development, and helped initiate other new programs. Mary has served as role model for future leaders in many individual organization as well as those involved with the Panhellenic Council where she served as President. As a Head Resident, Mary has been superb as a mentor and supervisor for her staff, always serving as a model for effective and respectful communication with students, staff, parents and administrators. Mary's contributions have made a significant impact on the Denison community which will continue well after she leaves our campus."
