Supporting comments: "If everyone did as much for others as Linda does, few would be left wanting. As president of Habitat for Humanity, she coordinated all five sectors of the local Habitat chapter and worked closely with Denison chairs. As a tutor in our America Reads program for the past four years, Linda has given generously to children in Licking County schools. All of Linda's volunteer activities, however, only complement her classroom achievements and helping others to learn economics. As if excelling at her studies and at volunteering were not enough, Linda was co-captain of Denison's successful volleyball team. She has a sense about how to work with others to get things done. Maybe it is her self-confidence or enthusiasm that makes people want to follow her lead. Maybe it is her gentle manner and sense of humor. Whichever is the case, students, community leaders, faculty and stall all enjoy working with her. Energy abounds, laughs are frequent, and ideas flourish when you are around her."
