Supporting comments: "With a keen intellect and an ability to explain difficult concepts with ease, Jenna was nominated by several professors in both the Chemistry and Biology departments to tutor after she had completed only her freshman year. Throughout her four-year tenure in the department, Jenna has enacted positive change and a higher level of visibility for the Biochemistry major and for the Denison Chemical Society. Jenna is an accomplished researcher, and has informally mentored younger peers to pursue research through the department. As a Student Facilitator for Sophomore Quest, Jenna's quick thinking, clever responses and genuine interest helped many sophomores explore their academic and life interests. With a strong desire to give back to her community, Jenna has been a model at balancing her rigorous academic schedule with a dynamic co-curricular life and a deep commitment to service."
