Supporting comments: "Displaying exceptional leadership both in the classroom and in the co-curriculum, Stephanie excels in her classes, works assiduously for social causes and displays great poise in her interactions with others. She began her work by volunteering with three different DCA committees in her first year and then went on to later serve as chair of those three - while volunteering in others. Stephanie provided leadership and helped to plan and facilitate the annual Fall Festival for Licking County citizens with developmental disabilities and their families. This included organizing over 80 DCA volunteers with other campus groups. The event included crafts, games, and food for over 150 guests and received the honorable mention award nationally in the Make a Difference Day competition. Stephanie exemplifies the kind of reflective scholar-activist Denison seeks to graduate."
