Bryan carried out all the duties of the coordinator with poise, maturity and intelligence. He was an effective leader and guide among his peers and administrators. When the events of fall 2007 highlighted our community’s struggles with diversity-related issues, Bryan guided the staff and the incoming students in a way that helped everyone to understand the need for more communication and action. His new ideas, incorporated into our 2008 August-O, did just that with the addition of an upper-class student panel which spoke to the incoming First-Year students about some of the challenges they have encountered. An outstanding model for his peers, Bryan will be deeply missed."
