Duke Digital Scriptorium
The Digital Scriptorium has digitized items from various collections in the Rare
Book, Manuscript, and Special Collections Library, and has created on-line versions
of exhibits that were featured in the Perkins Library gallery or Rare Book
Room cases. Digital Scriptorium projects cover everything from ancient
papyri to 20th century presidential campaign memorabilia.
Hanover Historical Texts Project
A project that seeks to make a wide variety of historical
primary texts available online; coverage is international, but most of
the completed documents are from Europe at this time.
Making of America
A digital library of primary sources in American social history from the antebellum
period through reconstruction. The collection is particularly
strong in the subject areas of education, hology, American history, sociology,
religion, and science and technology.
National Archives and Records Administration
NARA makes available to the public the historically valuable records
of the three branches of federal government.
National Union Catalog of Manuscript Collections
A national catalog providing descriptions of manuscript collections. Catalog
records are fully searchable.
