Designer/Architect: Graham Gund Architects of Cambridge, Massachusetts
Named For: Construction of the building was funded through an $8 million gift from the Burton D. Morgan Foundation.
Current Use: The new Burton D. Morgan Center, north of Knapp Hall, provides a new point of entry for campus visitors and houses a variety of academic and administrative functions, including: the Career Development Center; a faculty lounge; offices for Alumni Affairs, University Resources and Public Affairs, and Organizational Studies; and a host of technology-rich classrooms and seminar spaces. It is physically linked to both Knapp Hall and the new underground parking garage beneath the Campus Common.
