Building: Doane Dance, 1905
Architect/Designer: Richards, McCarty and Bulford of Columbus
History: Built as a women's gymnasium.
Building Style: Jeffersonian Federal Revival style in brick.
Current Use: Renovated in 1974 to house the Dance Department the building now contains two dance studios, both of which are equipped with a five-layer, spring-loaded floor. The department uses the facilities to teach modern dance, ballet and also contemporary jazz.
