An excellent web site, run by the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency; begin by selecting the country. Each country's entry has a map of the country along with facts about population, economy, and the political climate. - United Nations Statistics Databases
Contains numerous statistical databases dealing with population, urbanization, and social indicators such as income, health, and education. - UN Population Division / World Population Prospects
Lets you run a program which shows urbanization & population growth rates. - World Development Indicators
Published by the World Bank. Statistics on every facet of a country's development, including urbanization.
