Finding Books
You can access books from Dension's library and other libraries in Ohio.
- The CONSORT Library Catalog gives you access to books at Denison, Kenyon, Ohio Wesleyan and the College of Wooster.
- OhioLINK allows you to find and request books in other university libraries in Ohio. They arrive in 3-6 days.
- WorldCat is a catalog of materials held worldwide. Materials in WorldCat that are not available through CONSORT and OhioLINK can be requested through Interlibrary Loan.

Indexes & Databases
Look for journal articles, newspaper articles and government information about your organization, the problem it seeks to solve, or to find arguments for opposing sides of an issue by searching in some general databases and other electronic resources.
- Newspaper Source Contains selected full text for 245 regional U.S. newspapers, eighteen international newspapers, and more.
- NewsBank Newspapers Contains full-text articles from the electronic editions of record for more than 600 U.S. newspapers, including 17 from Ohio.
- Lexis-Nexis Academic Covers late breaking news, case-law, company backgrounds, biographies, and more. Indexes newspapers (including local, regional, and national), magazines, broadcast transcripts, and more. Updated weekly; most material is full-text. Also, look for testimony and search "Inside Washington".
- Lexis-Nexis Congressional Offers access to information by and about the United States Congress, including Congressional publications from 1970 to the present, CIS Legislative Histories for public laws going back to 1970, testimony from congressional hearings, bills as they move through the House and Senate, the Congressional Record and Federal Register, information about members and committees, and more.
- Academic Search Complete A good general, multi-disciplinary database that includes full-text of over 5,300 periodicals and indexing for 10,900 publications.
- Business Source Complete Provides full text journals in all disciplines of business, as well as financial data, books, monographs, major reference works, book digests, conference proceedings, case studies, investment research reports, industry reports, market research reports, country reports, company profiles, SWOT analyses and indexing and abstracts for the most important scholarly business journals back to 1886.
- International Political Science Abstracts Includes current indexing and abstracts of the world's leading journals in political science.
- Left Index Provides access to the diversity of literature on the left on topics such as politics, economics, the labor movement, ecology and environment, women's studies, race and ethnicity, social and cultural theory, sociology, art and aesthetics, philosophy, history, education, law, and globalization.
- LGBT Life Provides indexing and abstract coverage of the world's literature regarding Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender issues
- SocIndex Provides full text of many articles, as well as indexing and informative abstracts for articles, books, monographs, conference papers, and other sources.
- The AP Multimedia Archive may have photos you might want to include in your report or use in your class discussion.
