Purchase Request Form

Is there an item that you'd like to see in the Doane Library collection? This form is just one of many ways for you to request that we purchase a specific book, journal, recording, etc:

  • Use the campus mail to send a request to Earl Griffith, Head of Collection Development. Do whatever works best for you-- circle an item in a catalog, send a flyer, use the order cards from the library acquisition department. If you've received Choice cards or approval slips for review, send back the ones you'd like us to buy.

  • Send Earl an email (griffith@denison.edu) or give him a call, x6619.

Note that this form isn't suitable for rush requests or reserve requests. Faculty can place reserve requests through our course reserve form [pdf].

   1) Denison should buy a copy regardless of other consortial holdings.
   2) A circulating copy anywhere in CONSORT is okay.
   3) A circulating copy in OhioLink is enough.
