Career Services at Denison is proud to offer the second edition of the Career Academy! The Career Academy is designed to provide Denison students information relating to the career development process and a competitive edge in today's challenging employment environment. Discussions, facilitated by leading professionals in a variety of industries, will be centered around self-assessment, professional communication and the job/internship search process.
The Career Academy is scheduled for Monday, October 19th, 2009 and will take place a SparkSpace, (the most exciting retreat center on the planet!), in Columbus. Vans will depart Denison at 9:00 a.m. and participants will return to campus by 4:00 p.m.
As a result of participating in The Career Academy, participants will:
-have a clearer understanding of the career development process
-have expanded their professional network
-develop skills necessary to conduct successful job/internship searches
-sharpen their teambuilding skills in a state-of-the-art retreat center
