Information Technology Services

The mission of Information Technology Services (formerly known as Computing Services) is to provide and maintain a digital computing and network technology infrastructure and a wealth of support services for the same to serve the needs of students, faculty, and staff, worthy of a top-rated national liberal arts college.

The five computing divisions employ more than thirty personnel and sixty student assistants. The department's organizational structure is illustrated by the chart below:

Divisions

The Director of Information Technology Services, Lisa Bazley, overseas the management of the five ITS divisions and the technology needs of the university. 

Administrative Computing supports the administrative application software for Admissions, Accounting and Budgetary Finance, the Cashier's Office, Financial Aid, Housing and Residential Life, Human Resources, Purchasing, Student Records, and Public Affairs.

Educational Technology Services assists the Denison faculty and academic community in the use of technologies to enhance learning.

Support Services focuses on technology support for desktop, laptop, and hand held equipment.  It also operates a Help Desk as a first point of contact, inquiry, or problem reporting of technology issues affecting the university community.

Technical Services supports the wide-area and local area networks and maintains the network operations center.

Web Services manages the Denison web enterprise. It supports the campus community through training, site development, and technical assistance.
