ETS Mission Statement

The mission of the Educational Technology Services group is to assist the Denison faculty and academic community in the use of technologies to enhance learning.

Priorities of Educational Technology Services staff include:

  • Focusing on communication, especially listening to, assisting with, and in some cases, producing curricular projects
  • Assisting with the development of departmental computing facilities and managing classroom presentation systems
  • Providing consultation, documentation and training services for faculty members
  • Using technology in our own work, including research into developing technologies and assistance in setting campus standards
  • Maintaining close ties to the academic mission of the campus through committee service and teaching
  • Maintaining professional currency in information technologies, including participation in appropriate conferences.

 

eClassrooms updates

All eClassrooms with computers running Windows operating system have been updated to MS Office 2007.  If you need assistance using the new software, please call the Help Desk at x6395.
