Managing Spam
Denison Apps powered by Google automatically detects suspicious messages and sends them to the Spam folder, aka label. If you believe that you are missing a message, it may have ended up in Spam or you may have deleted it and the message now sits within the Trash label. Apps mail doesn't search for messages in Spam or Trash unless you explicitly tell it to.
Here's how you can include spam and trash in your search results:
- Click the down arrow in the search box at the top of any Apps mail page to show search options drop-down window.
- Select Mail & Spam & Trash from the Search drop-down menu.
- Fill in the search fields with the details you remember confidently. If you're not certain about any field, leave it blank.
- Click Search Mail.
How to avoid spam
- Be extremely careful about who you give your email address to. Some businesses make money by selling email addresses they collect to other companies, who then use your address to spam you.
- For non-Denison related business, like memberships at eBay, Amazon, etc., it is recommend that you use a different email account. Yahoo! offers free email services.
