Disabling ActiveX

1. Internet Explorer
   

   With Internet Explorer running, in the top menu bar click Tools, then Internet Options.  Click on the Security tab.

2. Custom Level...
   

   Click Custom Level... at the bottom of the window

3. Disable
   

   Select Disable for each of the following options:
      Download signed ActiveX controls
      Download unsigned ActiveX controls
      Initialize and script ActiveX controls not marked as safe
      Run ActiveX controls and plug-ins
      Script ActiveX controls marked safe for scripting
