To add more text, select the Enhanced Paragraph option from the drop-down box and click Add Element. You will be directed to a standard text box, where you can type in any text or information.

Creating Links
There are four types of link you can add in an enhanced paragraph:
- Internal Story (links to pages on Denison website)
- E-mail (links to an individual's e-mail address)
- External (links to pages outside of Denison website i.e. Google, Yahoo)
- Internal Media (links to media files on Denison website i.e. pdf, word, software, images)
Important definitions:
key - preferably a one-word reference, so that you can place a link in text (case-sensitive)
link text - text that shows up on screen after you preview and/or publish the story.
1. Internal Story
Select Link - Internal Story from the drop-down box and and click Add Element

When on the link profile, you must put in the key and link text (see definitions above).

To relate a story, scroll down to related story section and click Edit.

Find desired story and click Relate.
Then scroll down to the bottom of the page and click Save which takes you back to enhanced paragraph profile.

To put a link into enhanced paragraph text, you will need a key that you created earlier. If you don't remember the key, you can find it below the enhanced paragraph box.

Find a place where you want to put the link and type in the word 'link', then open a square bracket. Type in the key and close the square bracket. Ex.: link[key]. There must be no spaces in between.

After you are done, apply changes and preview the story.

2. E-mail
Choose Link - Email from the drop-down box and click Add Element

Put in the appropriate key, e-mail address to which you are linking, and link text. Then click Save.
You need not relate a story for e-mail links.

When back on the story profile, put in link key in desired place in the enhanced paragraph (see screenshot for internal story link).

Apply changes and preview the story.

3. External
Choose Link - External from the drop-down box and click Add Element

Type in the appropriate key, URL of the website to which you are linking (must start with http://), and link text. Then Save.

Put link key in desired place in the enhanced paragraph.
Apply changes and preview the story.
To save your progress, go back to the story and click Save button.
4. Internal Media
Select Link - Internal Media from the drop-down box and click Add Element

Type in the appropriate key and link text.

To find media files, click on Edit in the Related Media section.

Find the desired media file and click relate, then Save.

Put in a key name in the desired location within the enhanced paragraph.
Apply changes and preview the story
To save your progress, go back to your story and click the Save button.
Publishing a Story
On the Story Profile screen, find the Check-In drop down and button on the bottom right. Select ". . . and Publish" from the drop down.

Click the Check-In button (not Save!).

Your story has been published.
Finding an Already Published Story
Click on the Pages Workflow on the left side of the screen.
Click on Find Stories.

In the search box, type the title of the story you are looking for.

If you need to refine your search, click the Advanced Search link near the top of the screen.
Limiting your search by URI is the most effective way to narrow your results. For example, if your site is /offices/computing/, typing "computing" in the URI field will limit your results to stories in that category. Advanced search is useful when looking for pages that frequently recur on the site, such as Faculty and Staff index pages.

Once you've found the story you want, select the Check Out box on the right and click the Check Out Button at the bottom of the screen.

Your story has been created; you will be redirected to the Story Profile screen. You are now ready to add elements and content to your story.
