Tabs and Columns
myDENISON delivers several default tabs, but you can add more. Theoretically, you could add as many tabs as you'd like, but most people find three to five tabs to be most useful.
Tabs are divided into columns that contain one or more channels. Each tab can have as many columns as you'd like, but two or three columns are most common.
Both tabs and columns can be manipulated in a variety of ways.
Creating and Moving Tabs
To move, create, or remove tabs choose Change Layout & Skin from the upper left corner of your screen.
To create a new tab, select Add New Tab from the list of tabs across the top of the edit diagram. You will be prompted to enter a name. Once you've added a name, choose Submit.
To remove a tab, click on that tab's name. This will give you a list of editing options. Choose Delete Tab to remove the current tab and everything on it. Note: Some default tabs contain important channels and can not be deleted.
To move a tab, click the arrows to the right or left of their names in the edit diagram. (Note: The placement of the default tabs is locked. If arrows are not visible, you have no moveable tabs in your myDENISON layout.)
To rename a tab, click on the tab's name. In the list of options, enter the new name for the tab in the text box. Choose Rename to finalize the name changes.
Creating and Moving Columns
To move, create, or remove columns, click the Change Layout & Skin link in the upper right corner of your screen.
To create a new column, select one of the boxes labeled Add Column from the edit diagram. A new column will be created in the location that you chose. The new column will be displayed, empty except for a Add Channel button. Above the edit diagram will be boxes to enter new widths for all the columns. Enter the new widths and choose Submit.
To remove a column, click the Select Column button at the top of your chosen column, and then click the Delete This Column link. (Note: Some columns on the default tabs contain important channels and can not be deleted.)
To move a column left or right, use the arrow buttons at the top of the column.
When you are finished making changes, select Return to Current Tab to end your editing session.
