Denison Dollars Accounts
A Denison Dollars account is a prepaid, declining balance account that can be used on campus for purchases at the University Bookstore, Copy Center, Mail Center, all Dining Services locations, Bandersnatch (our student coffee house), campus vending machines, and laundry rooms in the ten largest residence halls.
A minimum deposit of $25 is required; there is no maximum deposit. Additional money can be added at any time. Any unspent funds at the end of the semester will be carried over to the next semester. Provided there are no outstanding debts to the university, unspent funds can be refunded at the end of the academic year upon written request to Student Accounts. (This happens automatically when a student graduates or withdraws.) Funds cannot be refunded mid-semester.
Depositing money to Denison Dollars Accounts
To make a deposit to a student's Denison Dollars account, simply send one of the following along with your check or money order (please do not mail cash) to the Student Accounts Office:
- The top portion of your Statement of Account with the appropriate areas completed;
- Or, a brief note containing the student’s name, account number, and the amount to deposit to the Denison Dollars Account;
- Or, a completed Denison Dollars Account deposit [pdf] form.
If you are on campus, you may bring your deposit to Student Accounts on the first floor of the
Credit cards cannot be used at this time to make a deposit to the Denison Dollars accounts.

Checking the Balance of your
You may check the balance of your Denison Dollars Account at any cash register or vending machine that accepts Denison Dollars. You do not need to make a purchase to check the balance of your account.
