Denison Dollars Account
A Denison Dollars account is a prepaid, declining balance account that can be used on campus for purchases at the University Bookstore, Copy Center, Mail Center, all Dining Services locations, Bandersnatch (our student coffee house), campus vending machines, and laundry rooms in eighteen of the residence halls.
Money can be added to your account at any time. Any unused funds at the end of the semester will be carried over to the next semester. Provided there are no outstanding debts to the university, unspent funds can be refunded at the end of the academic year upon written request to Student Accounts. (This happens automatically when a student graduates or withdraws from the University.) Funds cannot be refunded mid-semester.
Depositing money to a Denison Dollars Account
To make a deposit to a student's Denison Dollars account, simply send one of the following along with your check or money order (please do not mail cash) to Student Accounts:
- The top portion of your Statement of Account with the appropriate areas completed;
- Or, a brief note containing the student’s name, account number, and the amount to deposit to the Denison Dollars account;
- Or, a completed Denison Dollars Account Deposit Form [pdf].
If you are on campus, you may bring your deposit to Student Accounts on the first floor of the
*Credit cards cannot be used at this time to make a deposit to Denison Dollars.

To use your Denison Dollars account, present your student ID card at the cash register at the University Bookstore,
Checking the Balance of your
Denison Dollars Account
You may check the balance of your Denison Dollars Account at any cash register or vending machine that accepts Denison Dollars. You do not need to make a purchase to check the balance of your account.
