Alcohol & Drug Education
Alcohol, Drug and Health Education utilizes a public health model of prevention. Our goal is to educate and empower the Denison University community on health related issues such as alcohol abuse, HIV/AIDS awareness, sex education, eating disorders, acquaintance rape, exercise/nutrition and recreation.
Through the implementation of sustained education and proactive prevention activities, Alcohol, Drug and Health Education intends to empower the Denison community to develop responsible habits, attitudes, and lifestyles regarding health and wellness as well as promote healthy choices as alternatives to the use of alcohol or drugs, and creating a learning environment where students feel supported for their choices.
